Financial Literacy for Groups
Course Details
The Financial Literacy program is a custom made program for groups or individuals who wish to learn how to better manage their finances, how to create budgets & to achieve savings.
The approach is innovative and fun. We learn to be conscious of how we spend our money and discuss cost saving strategies, provide budget cooking plans/meals all in a fun, supportive environment.
This course can be tailor made for any organisation who would like to teach their participant groups, either inhouse or at your establishment (if you have cooking facilities) or you can sign up individually for our next course coming soon.
"Julie has provided a well organised and knowledgeable Financial Literacy Program for eleven "Get Set for Work"" teenage participants over 6 weeks.
During this time Julie has engaged professionally and has provided the participants with relevant information necessary to be financially responsible as they enter adulthood. The information was well thought out and presented in a way that all participants were able to engage and understand.
The Cooking Workshops were extremely enjoyable and gave the participants a chance to share responsibility and link the fun practical side of cooking to the financial importance of budgeting and how to make meals last longer.
All our participants have engaged in Julie’s program and have found something beneficial from it that they can apply to their own lives.
Julie is approachable and compassionate and can work and communicate effectively with young people coming from complex home environments and who may suffer from mental health and behavioural issues.
I look forward to working with Julie again in the future as we see her as a valuable asset to the "Get Set for Work Program and the wider Caboolture community."
