The Certificate III in Community Services is a nationally recognised training qualification run in conjunction partnership with "Look Now Training" RTO31827 and is funded under the "Skilling Queenslanders for Work" program. It is designed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge, and information to help develop a successful career in the Social Services Sector.
Certificate III in Community Services will give participants the core skills to fulfil a role as a community services worker. Successful completion of the course will enable the participant to work in a range of community areas which may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or assist with the implementation of specific community-based programs. You will also learn how to support independence and wellbeing for your clients and develop a range of transferable skills from communication to teamwork.
Skilling Queenslanders for Work funds training and support for unemployed or underemployed people, with a focus on young people (including those in and transitioned from out-of-home care), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, mature-age jobseekers, women re-entering the workforce, veterans and ex-service personnel, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
